International Symposium on Chylomicrons in Disease-2 (ISCD2)
On behalf of the Organizing Committee I am very glad to inform you that the Second International Symposium on Chylomicrons in Disease (ISCD-2) will be held in Rotterdam from June 2 - 5, 2010.
This meeting welcomes a wide number of participants, from all over the world, involved in the chylomicron metabolism, atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases fields.
As an expert in this area, you will be aware of the physiological importance of chylomicrons and increasing evidence for a role in metabolic disorders, when their metabolism is impaired. In a scientific context, interest is trans-disciplinary and includes broad areas of physiology, biochemistry, lipoprotein metabolism, nutrition, endocrinology, gastrointestinal function, pharmaceutics, cardiovascular disease, obesity, insulin resistance and diabetes.
It has been my privilege to be supported on multiple levels in order to bring together some of the greatest scientific contributors to this field. Consequently, I would like to encourage you to take a few moments to recognize our generous sponsors who have made this possible and acknowledge the hard work and efforts of numerous colleagues and staff that have helped arrange this meeting.
